DubVision, Otto Knows, and Alex Aris unite on nostalgic STMPD RCRDS single, ‘Electricity’
DubVision are unstoppable year after year and 2022 has proven to be another example of that undying consistency. After racking up seven different releases during the year’s first eight monthsâincluding back-to-back Martin Garrix pairings as well as their recently dispersed STMPD RCRDS x Tomorrowland Music EP cutâthey’re turning the clock back to the early stages of the pandemic the delivery of “Electricity” beside Otto Knows and Alex Aris.
Originally debuted during their digital showing for STMPD RCRDS’ virtual festival in March of 2020, “Electricity” had a giant question mark hanging over it as to when it would eventually see the light of day. But DubVision had a quick change of heartâjust like they did after an endless stream of fan calls for “Oxygen”âafter Otto Knows discovered it later on and proposed the idea of turning it into a collaboration. And after adding in Alex Arisâwhose name may seem familiar from “Mistaken“âas the collaborative cherry on top, DubVision and Otto Knows matched the summery vocal with early-2010s house influences from who else but Axwell, going on to debut its final form at Tomorrowland’s The Library stage during weekend two.
