[NovaFuture Blog Exclusive Mix]: Nauthiz plays Monnom Black

DJ:
Nauthiz

About the concept:
Here is the one hundred and seventeenth instalment of our series “abc plays xyz”.

The idea behind it is to ask some DJs/mixing artists if they have an artist or label in mind that they love and would like to use for a mix.

So the approach of each mix is clear: the choosen DJ/mixing artist makes a selection of tracks produced by one artist (and her/his monikers. or released on a label (and its sublabels. and creates a nice mix from it.

Find links to all instalments at our overview. Today we present you Nauthiz’s mix of stuff released on Dax J’s label Monnom Black.

About Nauthiz:
Berlin based, Ruhrpott raised youngster Nauthiz is still pretty new to the scene.

Nevertheless, he has a lot to proof: from first appearances in Berlin’s Suicide Club over contributions to established podcasts like The Techno’s Children and Excess up to several shows around the Ruhr area, Nauthiz seems to be a promising newcomer.

In contrast to his innocent appearance, the musical socialization of the never aging Berliner by choice went from Metal- and Hardcore in his early ages through harder Techno and Schranz more recently. Just these influences shape the characteristics of his sound: hard hitting, fast paced, nostalgic and rhythm oriented.

Inspired by the nordic rune “Nauthiz”, which represents overcoming suffering and a challenging fate, he sees his mission in spreading energetic, powerful vibes for more vital forces.

Nauthiz About His Choice:
Monnom Black was a very obvious choice for me, yet there was still going a lot of thought into it. I first thought that I might feel limited choosing tracks from only one label.

Therefore, I wanted to pick a label where I not only highly identify with the music and artists, but that also lets me choose from a wider range, while still staying true to my style and taste.

From sound-design-heavy ambient and EBM oriented releases to more dreamy stuff and four to the floor club bangers, Monnom Black never ceases to excite me!
